David Reed

David Reed is known for creating long horizontal or vertical paintings. Many of Reed’s paintings were hung in bedrooms, because of this he decided to recreate a bedroom. Reed uses this style of painting in his work “Judy’s Bedroom” and “Scotties Bedroom” from the Hitchcock film Vertigo. He recreated each of the bedrooms from the film and would have the movie playing with the display.
